Position description
PHL is looking for a brand manager to oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy for PHL’s water division.

Strategy development
• Develop new and innovative marketing activities that will help to generate word of mouth advertisement from our customers
• Identify novel and cost effective guerrilla marketing approaches
• Display significant understanding of budget constraints and develop marketing activities that fit within those budget constraints
• Research international best practices regarding marketing at the base of the pyramid

Project management
• Oversee the implementation of our existing marketing strategy, which includes activities such as developing a subscription model, conducting a    competitive landscape, facilitating partnerships with schools and local organizations, etc.
• Coordinating with marketing officers in the field to ensure proper marketing activities are being implemented
• Providing training for marketing officers to fill any gaps in performance

Metrics and evaluation
• Develop appropriate metrics to ensure that marketing activities are achieving desired results and to immediately identify any shortcomings before    any major issues develop
• Evaluate metrics on a scheduled basis to properly forecast any emerging trends, opportunities, potential threats, etc.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• MBA and 4 year undergraduate degree in marketing from a reputed university.
• 2-4 years of work experience in marketing, brand management, and sales.
• Demonstrable experience with project management and with metrics and evaluation.
• Proven history of innovative thinking and creative problem solving.
• Strong understanding of the consumer preferences for the urban and peri-urban poor in and around Lahore
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) as demonstrated by prior experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team
• Strong expertise in Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point
• Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Openness to evolving responsibilities.
• Commitment to and enthusiasm for Pharmagen’s mission and business model, and respect for the organization’s core values
• Background and experience in working in the water and/or healthcare space will be an added plus.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
